i2Net has been researching and modelling the way in which people communicate
with one another and inanimate devices in the home since 1993.
On the basis of our research and development, we have licensed our first product - software that greatly simplifies home automation.
Our software, Orion, creates an 'electronic partner' (referred to as 'EP') which eavesdrops in a room, listening for commands.
Anyone in the room can use natural (and complex) language to communicate with it.
Orion is of course computer software, but we've removed the need to understand how to operate a computer, replacing the usual complex graphical user interface with a new and innovative one.
You can say, "Orion, we're going out in 10 minutes. When we are gone, turn off all the lights" and your wish is your EP's command.
Our design philosophy has enabled us to move software control from the application developer to the user, who is in control of their electronic partner at all times.
The user knows the problem facing them.
They tell their EP who understands, determines the solution, and solves the problem.
